Kitchen Renovation FAQs
There is no firm answer to this question because every project will have different variables, materials selected, and hours of operation. Here at CMY Renovation ltd. will usually create all cabinets before doing any preparation or demolition when the design and parameters allow for it. We then work in reverse from when they will be ready for installation and schedule accordingly to optimise everybody's time.
At CMY Renovations ltd, we focus our energy on replacing in full to provide a better system for the end user. This allows us to increase sizes, reorganise, and optimise the area better than the previous installers 20+ years ago. Painting cabinetry may result in chipping and we are not interested in half measures, so it is our opinion that our clients will not receive the true value of a kitchen taking this route. Refacing the cabinets is another half measure in our eyes. It has the ability to make the outside of the cabinets look awesome while the inside is still old at 60-75% the cost. If you need to wait and save to increase your budget, please do it and thank us later!

The truth is that your material is determined by the usage of the space. If you're a doctor, lawyer, an executive or someone that doesn’t cook and/or works late and doesn’t use the kitchen your material choice can be very different. Now compared to a mother of 3 kids, a partner, 2 dogs, a bird, and cat the material will most likely be extremely low-no maintenance. Working with CMY Renovations ltd, we will help you choose the right material whether that is quartz, granite, concrete, butcher block, or anything else. PVC, MDF or PAINTED WOOD
This is like walking into 10 different car lots and asking a sales representative for a car. What will the sales representative ask? What is your budget? What kind of car are you looking for? How will you use the car? Heated steering wheel, leather seats, sound system upgrade etc. Prices will vary and there is no set amount that can be given, but we recommend purchasing quality products and not cutting corners. The kitchen is the most used room in your residence, so spend accordingly. Even if you have to reduce the scope, it is better to spend on quality here. You get what you pay for and your kitchen is front row centre.
